# InternScout

> InternScout (https://internscout.org) is a free internship search for college students of every major in the US and Canada. As of October 2, 2026 it lists 14,398 open internships, co-ops and research roles from 1,728 employers in 65 fields, collected several times a day from employers' own job boards. Search is free and needs no account. Built by one student, made for all students.

Key facts:

- Free: searching, ranking and browsing every listing; no account needed.
- Optional Chrome extension, InternScout Auto-Apply: fills in applications with AI and never submits them (the student reviews and submits). Free with a monthly allowance; a school .edu email doubles it. Optional paid plans: Supporter $4/month, Pro $8/month.
- Coverage: 14,398 open roles from 1,728 employers, in 65 fields, 50 of the 50 US states and 10 Canadian provinces and territories. 86% of open roles come straight from employers' own applicant tracking systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Oracle, iCIMS, Ashby and Lever are the largest).
- Updated several times a day. Every listing links to the employer's own posting.
- Not affiliated with UMass Amherst, or with any employer it lists.
