InternScout for employers

Give an open role a clearly labelled paid listing.

$29 per role for 30 days

A separate ad for your internship, co-op or research role on InternScout, a free search for college students in the US and Canada. Students apply through your original posting.

US dollars. One payment. No automatic renewal. Every paid listing is reviewed before it goes live.

If online ordering is unavailable, ask about a paid listing or the free pilot. Free board additions and corrections are open below.

A separate space for a relevant role

A paid listing is eligible to appear alongside matching searches and on relevant field or location pages. It stays separate from the regular results, with at most one paid listing on a page.

Location and pay from your real posting

Open posting
Illustration only, not a live role. Your posting supplies the title, location and any listed pay.
  • Relevant placement. Placement follows a student's search or selected field, and a role's field or location. It is not selected using a student's personal profile.
  • Your own application process. The listing points to your original posting. InternScout does not collect applications.
  • Fixed price and a clear end date. No bidding and no automatic renewal. If your role closes early, choose a refund or credit for the unused days.

From your posting to a paid listing

  1. Choose an open role. Find your company and select one or three roles. If a posting is missing, ask us to add your board for free.
  2. Choose dates and confirm your email. Review the price and terms, then pay through Stripe after email confirmation. A valid pilot code makes the order free.
  3. We review it before it runs. If we cannot approve your order, you get a full refund. You can also cancel by email for a full refund before approval.

What payment changes

It pays for the separate, labelled box. It does not buy a better ranking.

  • Paying never changes where any listing ranks, how it is scored, which filters it passes or how many results a student sees. Your role stays in its usual place in the results. Auto-Apply works the same for every listing, paid or not.
  • Students can hide paid listings. Their saved profile can hide a role that does not fit, but is never used to select a paid listing. When several paid listings fit, each has the same chance of appearing.
  • We do not promise views, clicks or applicants. After an uninterrupted campaign and its final calendar month end, we email rounded counts of how often the box was shown and opened. You can also ask for whole-month counts. We do not see applications, so we cannot count or attribute them.
  • Your checkout or invoice states the price and dates. If the role closes, changes or leaves InternScout, it stops showing and the unused days are returned as a refund or credit, your choice.

Read the paid listing terms and how paid listing counts work.

Free listings, board additions and corrections

Your internships may already be here. Check the dashboard or the list of employers hiring now. Ordinary listings stay free whether or not you buy a paid listing.

Send your careers page or job board if roles are missing. Send a posting link to correct the company name, location, pay or dates, or ask us to remove a closed or incorrect listing. All of this is free for every employer, whether or not you ever pay for anything. Board additions and corrections are always free, with no purchase required.

Use the form below, email brucepmcginley@gmail.com, or use the feedback form. InternScout is run by one student, so expect a reply within a few days.

Questions, the free pilot or a free correction

This form does not buy anything. Ask about a paid listing, check pilot availability, request a free board addition or correct a listing.
